FLOATING SCHOOL: AN EXAMPLE OF SOLUTION TO AREA WITH LIMITED TRANSPORTATION IN INDOCHINA

Abstract

The education is the basic requirement for improvement of quality of life of local people. How to effectively provide the general primary education to all is the important concern. The area with limited facilities and hard - to – access condition usually has the problem of education management for the local children. Here, the author discusses on an example of floating school which is set for serving for local children in a remote area in the big water reservoir dam in Indochina. This is a good example of attempt to have a coverage for education in the remote area with poor transportation system.
