Abstract

The ancient route for cultural transmission s very interesting. Some ancients routes still exist in the present day and there are several evidences left at present. An important subcontinent cultural route is the route from Sri Lanka to Cambodia. The route passing the ocean is very interesting. The existence of the ancient town namely Ligor which is presently known as Nakorn Srithammarat in Thailand is an example of connecting point between two main ancient cultures, Lanka and Khmer. From Lanka to Ankor, the mid - point is named “Ligorâ€.
