THE EFFECTS OF TERRORISM AND CRIME IN INDIAN TOURISM

Abstract

Crime and terrorism activities are increasing all not only in India but also around the world. It has effected developing and developed countries. With such an environment of Safety and Security concern, one of the major impacts can be seen on tourism of that region.

The current study analyzes the situation in India and present a secondary analysis over relation between crime, terrorism and tourism has increased in India but crime and tourist arrival are found to be inversely proportionate each other1. Therefore for states dependent on tourism, the crime rate must be brought down in order to revive this industry.
